ABSTRACT
In this chapter we use several applications to illustrate the multiple hypotheses testing framework developed in Chapter 3 for general parametric models. The combination of the methods from Chapter 3 with the closure principle described in Section 2.2.3 leads to powerful stepwise procedures, which form the core methodology for analyzing the examples in this chapter. At the same time we illustrate the capabilities of the multcomp package in R, which provides an efficient implementation of these methods.
