ABSTRACT
Production scheduling is very similar to aggregate planning. While aggregate planning determines the amount of resources necessary to produce a certain number of units, production scheduling determines the development of a schedule of how long it takes to make a certain number of products. Production scheduling answers the following questions:
1. When are the products to be produced? 2. How much of each product will be produced? 3. For how long will the products be produced?
