ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss the major results involving translation planes admitting collineation groups which act doubly transitively on a set of points, or on a set of parallel classes (infinite points). For reasons of space, we give only a few details on these results. We will pay particular attention to collineation groups with doubly transitive group actions on line size sets.
