ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will discuss pharmacokinetics from a physiological perspective in order to better understand the nature of the pharmacokinetic models we have discussed so far and will discuss further in Chapter 5. This includes that we mathematically build a pharmacokinetics model that reflects at least parts of the physiology, and then analyze this model with the standard PK methods discussed so far.
