ABSTRACT
If the domain in which the differential equation is being solved coincides with the complement of a bounded domain int, = IR2 − int, we speak of an exterior boundary-value problem. On top of standard boundary conditions (BCs) imposed on the domain boundary, an additional decay condition at infinity must be added.
