ABSTRACT
A command to line-of-sight (CLOS) guidance system employs a single sensor to measure the position of both the target and the interceptor missile. Usually, the single sensor is stationary and requires that the intercepting missile stay close to the line connecting the sensor to the target. The system operates by sending acceleration commands to the missile based on the sensor measurement of the target and missile positions.
