ABSTRACT

I. INTRODUCTION Lower urinary tract rehabilitation comprises nonsurgical, nonpharmacological treatment for lower urinary tract dysfunction. The specific techniques are defined in this report.

Most of the conditions for which rehabilitation techniques are employed have both a subjective and an objective component. In many instances, treatment is capable of only relieving symptoms, not of curing the underlying disease. Therefore, symptoms should be quantified before and after treatment, and the means by which the physiology is altered should be clearly stated.
