ABSTRACT
We consider a special class of stochastic evolution equations in which the time
derivative of the unknown is defined implicitly in the equation, but for which we
can still generate a variation of parameters formula for a mild solution. Such equa-
tions arise in a vast assortment of fields, including soil mechanics, thermodynamics,
civil engineering, and the dynamics of non-Newtonian fluids.
