ABSTRACT

More often than not, significant external forces, which are also subject to noise, im-

pact the evolution of the process. An accurate mathematical model must account for

this. How does one incorporate such external forces into the IVPs and IBVPs and the

subsequent abstract formulation of them? What effect does this have on the solution

in the sense of existence, continuous dependence, long-term behavior, etc.? We focus

on these questions in this chapter.
