ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION The most challenging pharmaceutical water applications are typically associated with parenteral products since, by their nature, parenterals are uniquely able to access bodily fluids and tissues. In this aqueous environment, water is uniquely suited to serve in a multitude of roles associated with drug development, testing, manufacture, and delivery.
