ABSTRACT
For equivalence trials, the null H0 and alternative H1 hypotheses are defined as follows:
H0: A given treatment is inferior with respect to the mean response (pA ≠ pB).
H1: The given treatment is equivalent with respect to the mean response (pA = pB).
