ABSTRACT
In Sections 1.4 and 1.5 of Chapter 1, we reviewed regression models for crosssectional data and longitudinal or clustered data. In this chapter, we provide a more detailed discussion of mixed effects models for longitudinal or clustered data, including their properties and methods for statistical inference.
