ABSTRACT

A solar cell is an energy generator that converts solar energy to electrical energy. Obviously, solar energy can also produce heat, so-called thermal energy, when photons (particles of light) strike the atoms that make up substances such as a human body, soil, buildings, water, and so on. That is, solar energy can produce electrical energy or thermal energy depending on the power generating substance we choose (i.e., electricity or heat). A solar cell is also called a photovoltaic cell since it produces
