ABSTRACT

Nowadays, mobile devices are ubiquitous in our lives. Products such as mobile (cell) phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), music players, handheld games consoles, book readers, and even video players are popular commodities. With such products, the term "mobile" should be descriptive of the users, not the device or application (Ballard 2007). This chapter focuses on how users interact with arguably the most common mobile device—the mobile phone.
