ABSTRACT
As the demand for geographic data continues to grow in all segments of society, the remote sensing industry continues to grow to meet these challenges. This chapter focuses on the driving forces behind the growth of outside the traditional markets for aerial imagery and how the industry has responded. In addition, we look at future trends and their impact on the practice of remote sensing.
