ABSTRACT
We have learnt how cosmic grains absorb and scatter light and how they emit. In this final chapter, we apply our faculties to diverse astronomical objects. We compute and discuss the emission from globules, protostars, accretion disks, reflection nebulae, extragalactic starburst nuclei and giant stars with dusty winds. The last section is devoted to dust extinction in a clumpy medium.
