ABSTRACT
First we discuss the wave heatings; i.e., wave heating in ion cyclotron range of frequency (ICRF) in Section 12.2, lower hybrid heating (LHH) in Section 12.3, and electron cyclotron heating (ECH) in Section 12.4. The physical processes of wave heating are not simple and the interactions of waves and plasmas have a lot of variety, so that various applications are possible depending on the development of wave heating methods.
