ABSTRACT

Cellulose is a linear polymer of β-1,4-d-glucopyranose units. Natural cellulose can be divided into two groups: crystalline and amorphous. The overall structure of natural cellulose is crystallized. Cellulose is one of the most common biopolymers on earth because it forms the primary structural component of all green plants, including vegetables.1 Accordingly, cellulose is a common component of our diet.
