ABSTRACT
Some problems related to the sampling of particles are reviewed and discussed here. In the particle sampling processes, a so-called sampling loss occurs at the entrance and inner wall of the sampling probe, so that the measured value can be incorrect. The subjects to be discussed here are (1) anisokinetic sampling errors, (2) sampling in stationary air, and (3) practical applications of particle sampling.
