ABSTRACT
A manufacturing concern often has customers spread nationally or even internationally over wide area, and the challenge on hand may be to decide which customers should be served by which facility and what should be the capacity of each facility to minimize the costs of production and distribution. This also forms the foundation for supply chain development.
