ABSTRACT
Chapter presents two topics, inventory planning and capacity planning. In inventory control, we determine the optimum inventory levels, ordering and restocking policies, and factors that may influence inventory cost. In capacity planning, we decide how to determine the capacity required at each resource center and how to plan or manage the available capacity to meet the requirements.
