ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 presented data from epidemiological studies that identi£ed WRMSD risk factors such as force, posture, repetition. These risk factors were primarily identi£ed through statistical analysis of musculoskeletal injury records, tracking of injuries back to speci£c jobs, and detailed surveys of workers. Such approaches collectively form a system of passive surveillance but may not provide necessary information in suf£cient detail.
