Overexertion and Lifting

Office environment provides a unique workplace. It is not expected that this type of work area would require physical effort that could result in occupationally related injuries. The lifting and moving of heavy materials is usually not viewed as an integral part of those working within the office environment. Also, since those working in offices are not expected to by performing manually taxing tasks, little attention is paid to the physical attributes of these workers when they are hired.
