ABSTRACT

For most conventional polymer structures, blending is used to achieve the desired properties of the composite structure. Conventional polymers are amenable to this approach, because they are either soluble in common organic solvents or fusible (melt before decomposing). This has generally not been the case with CEPs, although signicant advances have been made through modications to the polymer structure. Outlined in the following text are recent advances in the integration of CEPs into other polymer structures by either solution or melt processes.
