Struct. unknown. Alkaloid from Piper jaborandi (Piperaceae). Shows local anaesthetic props. pKa 8.14 (2Ethoxyethanol). The p-Aminobenzoate ester of an aminoalcohol C11H23NO, prob. a piperidine.
Hydrochloride: Mp 1348. Sometimes resolidifies and remelts at 1541568.
