ABSTRACT
The focus of this chapter is graphical user interfaces (GUIs), which are preferable to command-line interfaces for many non-Computer Science users. Graphical user interfaces are important if Grid computing platforms are to become accepted to a broader community of users. The chapter concentrates upon two areas:
• Graphical tools for generating workflows, and • Web-based portal design for access Grid resources.
