ABSTRACT
With Intranet, enterprises connect their internal resources on a common platform, which reduces the operational cost. Similarly, enterprises would like to cut cost by moving more and more business online. The business-to-business communication over the Internet is implemented by developing Extranets. Extranet could be understood as a part of one or more organization’s Intranet that has been expanded onto the Internet. Security is a critical issue in Extranet. Users who want to access a resource from other organizations’ Extranet must provide a password. Communication on Extranet must be encrypted.
