ABSTRACT
In chapter 11, an expert system is built using Bayesian updating and fuzzy logic to decide whether it is sensible to repair a used product of interest for subsequent sale on a secondhand market. In this chapter, fuzzy logic, quality function deployment (QFD), and method of total preferences are used to select the market with the most potential to sell a used product in, from a set of candidate secondhand markets.
