ABSTRACT
Experimentation is the heart of continuous improvement. To improve a process or product, new things must be tried and evaluated. While this is a well-known concept, the actual implementation is not always appropriately implemented. The implementation of experimental design can be categorized into four approaches: haphazard, best guess, one factor at a time (OFAT), and design of experiments (DOE).
