ABSTRACT
Neuropathic pruritus-in both its generalized and localized formsis not widely recognized, but the evidence supporting its existence is substantial and is reviewed here. We will discuss itch due to nervous system pathology in syndromes of localized pruritus and itch due to central nerve damage.
