ABSTRACT
This chapter describes mass positivity and the power moment problem with respect to the novel application of quantum mechanical methods to signal processing across a range of interdisciplinary research fields. With the real potential, all the calculated, i.e. predicted masses must be positive and, moreover, all the roots ought to be real and located within the segment. This will be the case with certainty if certain theorem could be proved. The chapter provides theorems of the mass positivity and the power moment problem with proofs.
