ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the analysis of non-delayed time signals and Green functions using the quotient-difference (QD) recursive algorithm. It derives equations for the delayed continued fraction coefficients. Vectors are generated by forming interchangeably their quotients and differences, where the vectors form a two-dimensional table as a double array of a lozenge form. The QD algorithm is one of the most extensively used tools in the field of numerical analysis.
