ABSTRACT

In the summer of 1940 there arose a situation concerning deliveries that could have become unpleasant for GEMA.

Just as in the Polish campaign, no radar was employed in the defeat of France, as the Luftwaffe commanded the air space so completely that no air-warning system was needed. Because RAF Bomber Command was occupied in altering its tactics to those necessary for night attacks, they made only nuisance raids of limited success over the Reich.
