ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the neuromotor factors that play a role in the patho-
physiology of the childhood obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). Please
see chapter 19 for a discussion of the role of structural factors in the patho-
physiology of OSAS, and chapter 6 for a discussion on upper airway physiology.
