ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the working principles of several novel refrigeration cycles, heat pumps, heat pipes, and cogeneration cycles are introduced. Their energy effi ciencies are reviewed. Finally, the applications of these new energy conservation technologies in the food processing facilities are reviewed and discussed.
