ABSTRACT
In a simple denition, complex metal hydrides are metallic elements (one or more metal elements) bonded with hydrogen. There are various types of complex metal hydrides that can be classied by the amount of different species present in the molecule: binary, ternary, and quaternary hydrides (see Table 21.1).
