ABSTRACT
With all the noise and distraction of a reactive work environment, it is sometimes easy to overlook the obvious. For instance, if one wanted to perform a root cause analysis (RCA) on an event, would they know which event was the most significant or costly? Experience demonstrates that our reactive cultures condition us for focusing on what is happening now (micro) and shield us from looking at the big picture (macro).
