ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will introduce some basic commonly used notations and operations related to asymptotic expansions. The focus will be on application of these notions and operations to practical problems. A more detailed description of the basics of asymptotic expansions can be found in a variety of books, for example, [1] - [4].
