ABSTRACT
The photobiological therapeutic applications of light described in this chapter outline the biological implication of the use of light as the treatment of choice for certain diseases and conditions that require some form of medical intervention. The photobiological effects are mostly thermal in nature and often rely on some form of coagulation to achieve a cure.
