ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss several scheduling topics that are more advanced than those studied in Chapter 7. We strongly believe that the macro-dataflow task graph scheduling model should be modified to better account for network resources consumption. It would be unrealistic to expect that a single model realistically models all kinds of architecture/software combinations. But bandwidths of network cards and of communication links are always limiting factors, exactly as CPU speeds limit computing resource consumption.
