ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the association of two poles forming a dipole. By definition, both poles must belong to the same energy subvariety or must be conductive. This new Formal Object belongs to the organization level immediately above that of poles, which is itself just below the level of the multipoles (comprising more than two poles).
