ABSTRACT

Charge, heat, mass, and momenta transfers (and the list is not limited to these four quantities) are processes having the same physical background which is different from propagation and from relaxation phenomena occurring in space. This specificity justifies a whole chapter devoted to the many aspects of transfers. It requires the introduction of new concepts, although the Formal Objects used for modeling transfers are much simpler than the last ones studied, as poles and dipoles are sufficient for hosting transfer processes.
