ABSTRACT
This chapter will discuss how one calculates those properties of molecules that might be involved in ligand-biomolecule binding. The methods attempt to quantitate one or more of the various types of noncovalent interactions. In addition, the discussion will include equations for calculating the relative concentrations of protonated and nonprotonated species from pKa.
