ABSTRACT
Giorgio Gaviraghi, architect, graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1968. He is responsible for several advanced designs for aerospace and innovative products as an architect and designer. Founder with Maria Adela Gimenez of eDL, an advanced design company in architecture, city planning, and system design. He has presented over 20 papers to major space conventions, including proposals for space construction systems, asteroid deflection, Martian city and space settlements. As an instructor for high school student teams, he was the winner of over ten international awards in space settlement and advanced aerospace design. He is author of the science fiction book First Contact.
