ABSTRACT
In Chapter 2, we obtained a complete picture of the set of classical solutions to the Gelfand problem (2.1) (see Figure 2.6). Such a result was obtained for a very specific equation and one may wonder what happens, say, if the domain is no longer a ball or if the nonlinearity is not the exponential function.
