ABSTRACT
Many parts of the preceding chapters accommodated the fact that the response might be measured with error. Chapters 2 and 3 allowed misclassification of a categorical outcome, while Chapters 4 and 5, as well as parts of Chapter 8 allowed for additive, and in some cases linear, error in the response. In this chapter we isolate some additional problems with error in a quantitative response.
