ABSTRACT
Shortly a er its discovery, B virus resulted in multiple human fatalities with few exposed survivors. Since then, there has been some variation in reports of virulence and infectivity, however, neurologic infection and fatality have been repeatedly demonstrated. To date, there have been approximately 40 cases of human B virus infections, allowing for limited evaluation of this disease in humans.
