ABSTRACT
This chapter provides concise overviews of selected drying technologies that represent essentially combinations of well-known drying technologies. Often, some synergy is generated when such technologies are combined. The discussion on such hybrid technologies is by no means complete. New ideas appear in the literature on a regular basis, and interested readers may fi nd them in archival journals such as Drying Technology.
