ABSTRACT
Laser is a kind of electromagnetic wave in the optical frequency range whose frequency is far higher than that of the ordinary electromagnetic wave. This enables the optical wave to be used in fields in which it could never be applied before, such as high-speed broad frequency band communication and cases of interaction between light and material requiring that the single photon energy be sufficiently great.
