CLASSIC PRESENTATIONS OF AMI Though the symptoms and signs of myocardial ischemia can often be nonspecific, familiarity with the more common, “classic” presentations is critical for virtually all physicians. A focused history and physical examination, with particular attention towards risk factors, are central components to the evaluation of patients presenting with chest pain and/or dyspnea.
